The event traditionally stands for exchange at eye level, clear entrepreneurial visions and practical impulses, and this is precisely where we at SECUINFRA were able to effectively contribute our expertise. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With our own stand and two strong contributions on stage, we were prominently represented and impressively demonstrated the importance of modern cyber defense for the sustainable security and further development of companies. Our goal was clear: to support companies in strengthening their digital resilience in a targeted manner and establishing cyber security as an integral part of their business strategy. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cybersecurity_as_a_key_issue_for_SMEs\"><\/span>Cybersecurity as a key issue for SMEs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SME Future Day 2026 once again highlighted the extent to which the framework conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises have changed. Geopolitical tensions, increasing digitalization and a constantly growing threat situation in cyberspace make security a central issue of corporate responsibility. Accordingly, security was one of the dominant themes of the event.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have actively embraced this development and made it the focus of our presence. Because it is clear to us that cyber defense is no longer just an IT discipline &#8211; it is a decisive lever for competitiveness, stability and future viability. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Panel_discussion_Turning_point_in_security_policy_and_its_impact_on_SMEs\"><\/span>Panel discussion: Turning point in security policy and its impact on SMEs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A particular highlight was the participation of our CEO Ramon Weil in the high-profile panel discussion on the topic:<br\/><em>&#8220;Taking responsibility &#8211; consequences of the security and defense policy turning point for SMEs&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with representatives from industry and the German Armed Forces, the specific impact of the changed security situation on SMEs was discussed in depth. The focus was on the realization that economic stability and national security interests are increasingly overlapping. Today more than ever, companies have a responsibility to actively strengthen their own resilience.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It became clear that cyber security, resilience and defense capabilities are inextricably linked. The discussion struck a chord and underlined the need to think strategically about cyber defense and implement it consistently. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Practical_insights_Security_Operations_Center_as_a_success_factor\"><\/span>Practical insights: Security Operations Center as a success factor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another highlight was the presentation by our Managing Cyber Defense Advisor Felix Gutjahr in the Speaker Corner. Under the title <br\/><em>&#8220;Building a Security Operations Center: Challenges and Solutions<\/em>&#8220;<br\/>, he provided in-depth insights into the practice of modern security architectures.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a growing awareness, particularly among SMEs, that continuous monitoring and early attack detection are essential in order to effectively counter threats such as ransomware or industrial espionage. The establishment of a Security Operations Center (SOC) plays a central role in this. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Felix Gutjahr highlighted the challenges companies face when implementing a SOC, the typical pitfalls to avoid and how both internal and external SOC models can be successfully established. The focus was particularly on the need to create powerful security solutions that deliver measurable added value without creating additional complexity. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presentation was met with great interest: The Speaker Corner was very well attended, and the discussions were subsequently deepened by numerous participants &#8211; a clear sign of the high relevance of the topic.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Strong_exchange_at_the_trade_fair_stand\"><\/span>Strong exchange at the trade fair stand<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were also able to hold numerous valuable discussions at our stand. The direct exchange with IT decision-makers, managing directors and security experts showed once again how great the need for clear, implementable cyber defense strategies is in the SME sector. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus was on specific questions:<br\/>How can an appropriate level of security be achieved?<br\/>What measures make economic sense?<br\/>And how can security strategies be sustainably integrated into existing structures?<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were not only able to provide impetus here, but also point out concrete solutions &#8211; always with the aim of making security practicable, efficient and future-proof.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_conclusion_Cyber_defense_determines_future_viability\"><\/span>Our conclusion: Cyber defense determines future viability<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SME Future Day 2026 impressively confirmed that cyber security is one of the key challenges of our time. For SMEs, this means that if they want to be successful in the long term, they must see cyber defense as a strategic success factor and act accordingly. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our message is clear:<br\/>Cyber Defense is far more than just technology &#8211; it is the basis for corporate resilience and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted
