In Germany, one in five children starts school without breakfast. The consequences are far-reaching: concentration problems, poorer school performance and limited prospects for equal opportunities. This is where the brotZeit e.V. association comes in, which has set itself the task of giving children a good start to the day with a healthy breakfast.
brotZeit e.V. is now involved in 450 schools across Germany. Around 2,700 volunteers, mainly senior citizens, lovingly prepare meals for the children every morning before school starts. But their support goes far beyond breakfast: they give the pupils attention, warmth and a sympathetic ear.

We are proud to support this important project. With our annual donation, 2,400 breakfasts can be financed – a contribution that enables many children to start the day focused and energized.
We would like to thank brotZeit e.V. and all the volunteers for their inspiring commitment. It is a matter close to our hearts to be a part of this great initiative, which not only satisfies hunger but also has a positive impact on children’s lives.
