Strategic Cybersecurity Day 2026 Copenhagen: SECUINFRA provides impetus for cyber resilience and modern SOC strategies

Strategic IT Security Day 2026 Kopenhagen

On January 20, 2026, SECUINFRA was part of the Strategic Cybersecurity Day 2026 in Copenhagen – a central platform for strategic exchange on modern IT security and cyber resilience in the Scandinavian region. Around 200 IT and security managers used the event to discuss current developments, regulatory frameworks and tried-and-tested security strategies.

Digital resilience under pressure: threats, regulation and practice

The Strategic Cybersecurity Day was dominated by an increasingly tense threat situation, growing regulatory requirements – particularly as a result of NIS2 – and the question of how organizations can strengthen their operational resilience in the long term.

The discussions focused, among other things, on

  • the early detection of cyberattacks and system malfunctions,
  • structured approaches to managing and recovering from security incidents,
  • as well as authentic experience reports from companies that have gone through real cyber crises and developed resilient security strategies.

The program impressed with its consistent integration of theory and practice: in-depth expert knowledge met concrete application examples from everyday business life. The free participation – exclusively for professional IT users – underlined the event’s claim to create real professional added value.

Our contribution: Security operations with substance and decision-making maturity

As a partner of the event, we were present with our own stand and held numerous high-quality discussions with decision-makers and specialist colleagues. The direct exchange once again confirmed the high demand for strategically sound, realistically implementable cyber defense.

A central element of our participation was our expert presentation by Felix Gutjahr, Managing Cyber Defense Advisor:

“Setting up a Security Operations Center – challenges and practical approaches”

Based on our experience from several successful SOC initiatives, we shed light on the reality behind the establishment and operation of a Security Operations Center. The focus was on

  • organizational, procedural, technological and personnel challenges,
  • typical misconceptions and structural stumbling blocks,
  • as well as pragmatic, tried-and-tested solutions from the field.

We also presented service-based alternatives to an internal SOC, explained common service models and defined key quality criteria for evaluating external SOC service providers. The focus was clearly on a reliable basis for decision-making and the establishment of security operations with measurable, sustainable added value.

Key impressions and findings

  • Strong partner presence with own stand and high frequency of discussions
  • Lecture with clear practical relevance and strategic depth
  • Valuable insights into the Danish cyber defense market, especially against the backdrop of current geopolitical developments
  • Intensive exchange with security experts and industry colleagues from Denmark

Sustainable added value for SECUINFRA

Our participation in Strategic Cybersecurity Day 2026 was an extremely effective strategic impetus for us:

  • Increasing our visibility in the Scandinavian cybersecurity environment
  • Strengthening our position as a reliable, leading specialist contact for strategic cyber defense and security operations
  • Targeted expansion of resilient networks and new contacts in the Danish market

The Strategic Cybersecurity Day 2026 impressively demonstrated how crucial holistically conceived cyber defense, operational excellence and resilience are for organizations that want to remain capable of acting even under increasing pressure. Topics that we at SECUINFRA stand for with a clear stance, in-depth expertise and practical implementation strength
